I am fairly pleased with my final Estella look, and I feel that I have captured essence of her cruel but innocent nature, as I believe her to be. The make-up and hair designs for this look are simple, yet effective, and I think that together they work well to portray my Estella character.
The main thing that went well for my was the application of the make-up. It was easy to create as I wanted, and there was too much to apply as I wanted to keep Estella as true to the time period as I could. Her skin looks fresh and youthful and not over done. Although I do feel I could have contoured her face a bit more, just to add some more definition.
The hair design was quite simple, however I struggled to get it exactly as I wanted it during the time we were given. I managed to create it, however there are things that I could have improved. For instance, the padding that I used was too long for my model's head and it stuck out a bit too far on the right. If I were to redo this look, I would have to make them smaller and make sure that they fit well.
In general, I am pleased with the overall outcomes of my Estella design and I feel that I worked well to overcome the problems that I faced when creating it. I think that the black and white photos work well to show off my design, and I have added a coloured photograph to show the colours that were applied.
