For Estella's make-up designs, I have created three simplistic ideas. This is because during the Victorian era, women would not have worn a lot of make-up, if any at all. Below are my three designs, which are all similar with slight variations.
Design 1:
This design consists of a base with contouring and some colour on the cheeks and lips.
Products needed:
- Kryolan foundation palette (use the shade closest to the model's skin tone)
- Illamasqua Satin Primer
- Dermacolour Camouflage Palette: D9 & D3
- Illamasqua Velvet Blusher: Libido
- Illamasqua Loose Powder
- Rimmel London Mascara
- Kryolan Lip Palette: LC007
- Begin by mixing the correct shade of foundation with the primer and apply to the model's face, neck, ears, and any other part of skin on show
- Contour the face using the Dermacolour Camouflage shades -> apply D9 under the cheek bones, down the sides of the nose and by the temples and apply D3 along the cheek bone and down the bridge of the nose
- Apply the blusher on the cheeks and then powder the face with Illamasqua's Loose Powder
- Apply a small amount of mascara to the top lashes, to give them slight colour
- Finish by applying the lip shade to the lips
Design 2:
This design is very similar to the one above, expect the colour on the cheeks and the lips is more purple.
Products needed:
- Kryolan foundation palette (use the shade closest to the model's skin tone)
- Illamasqua Satin Primer
- Dermacolour Camouflage Palette: D9 & D3
- Illamasqua Loose Powder
- Illamasqua Powder Blusher: Ambition
- Rimmel London Mascara
- Kryolan Lip Palette: LC003
The method to create this look would be the same as the above, changing the colours of blusher and lipstick. The only difference would be applying the blusher after you had powdered for this look.
Design 3:
This design is also similar to the designs above, with the colour used on the cheeks and lips being more pink this time instead.
Products needed:
- Kryolan foundation palette (use the shade closest to the model's skin tone)
- Illamasqua Satin Primer
- Dermacolour Camouflage Palette: D9 & D3
- Illamasqua Loose Powder
- Illamasqua Powder Blusher: Tremble
- Rimmel London Mascara
- MAC Lipstick: Creme de la Femme
